Blog Roll

Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.

After reading Steve Chapman's blog this morning on "The Secret of Obama's Sucess" I did some thinking and came up with a few additional opinions of my own.
First off, I believe that Mr. Chapman's blog was excellent.  It was right on the money.  It was all that and more.
Senator Obama could sell ice to the penguins @ the North Pole.  He has charisma and is a very fluent speaker who knows how to strick people's heart cords by saying just the right thing.  His voice could sooth a screaming child.
On the other hand, Senator McCain, in my opinion, could not sell Girl Scout cookies.  When he speaks his voice grates on my last nerve and quite frankly, he just is not a very charismatic speaker.
Had I not been researching, reading Townhall.com as well as the magazine, listening to conservative talk radio I would probably find myself on the Obama band wagon as well.
When you have a candidate like Senator Obama promising a land of change it would be very easy for a person to want to believe him.
I believe Obama to be a wolf in sheep's clothing though.
John McCain may not be Mr. Charismatic but I believe that, with Sarah Palin as his VP he has a better chance of making the right decisions for this country than Obama.
So, do not let the wolf  pull the wool over your eyes. I cast my vote for McCain.
Get out there and vote

My story and I am sticking to it.

New to me

Never having blogged before this is a first.  But there are many issues that I am very passionate about and like everyone else I have an opinion.  Perhaps even an opinion shared by at least one other person out there.  In any case, if you are reading this blog, welcome to "This Is My Story and I'm Sticking To It"!

Sarah Palin, the more I read about her the more that I like her.  She has back bone!  She does not give in to political pressure to water down her beliefs.  For instance.  She believes abortion is wrong, period.  She is not wishy washy about it and say that...well, it is okay under certain circumstances.  It does not matter how it effects the elections- she is sticking to her believes!  This woman is someone to respect and admire!  Many people think that Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to go to Washington.  I think that she is just fine for the job.  Many of the career politicians do not want her there because Mrs. Palin has a mind of her own and I do not think that she will be anyones puppet.  Will she change her mind on issues?  I do not say that I think she is close minded.  I think that, after thinking through an issue, if she belives that she was wrong that she is more likely to change her mind than some other people who voted for and supported the Iraq conflict when it first started then a few years later denied it.  (Not mentioning any names of course)  Sarah Palin is for real and I for one am going to watch what she does when and if she makes it to Washington.  Maybe our first lady president!  It would be interesting to see her and Hillary go up against each other for US President!  I for one want a front row seat for that campain!
Remember:  It's my story and I'm sticking to it!
